This past weekend the Summer Fun Cruiser and I were back downtown celebrating Motorcycle Madness once again! The event kicked off early with a breakfast, they even had whipped cream for your pancakes! and after you finished they were also taking registration for the Poker Run. Later in the afternoon all the bikes lined up for the Show and Shine where all the public got to view any bikers favourite ride in different category. Lunch was served by the Humane Society and there was live entertainment all afternoon as local band "Say What" performed some good classic rock tunes like The Eagles and Jimmy Buffett. A great afternoon in the valley and Drum FM's summer event cruiser was there broadcasting live from the event all day long. Check out the pictures for a better look of the day. After awards were given out to best bikes in each category we moved down to the Legion and the games begun. It was a very upbeat and competitive atmosphere when the crowd started getting involved because the bikers needed help in a few games!
                       
Next weekend the Summer Fun Cruiser will be at the Newcastle Ball Diamonds as Drumheller hosts for the first time ever the Provincials in Girls Fastpitch. -Erica Grayson |
