Dragons Overtake Oilers

The Drumheller Dragons racked up another win, with a dominating performance in Okotoks.

On Saturday, December 15, the Dragons faced of against the Oilers at 7:00 p.m in the Pason Centennial Arena. Dragon, Bryton Mills, was quick to get the Dragons in the game, scoring 13:22 into the first period. Okotoks answered back with a goal, however Drumheller's, Stephen Doane found the net for a second Dragons goal.

In period two the Dragons continued their hot streak, with goals from Dakota Zaharichuk, Ryan Bloom, Brad Deagle and Adam Danyluk. The Oilers managed to sneak one more past the pipes, with period two wrapping up with a score of 6-2.

Period three was quiet between the pipes, with zero goals for either side. The Dragons won the game 6-2, with Ryan Bloom receiving the away star.

Next Dragons action is on Tuesday, December 18, when the Dragons head to Calgary to take on the Mustangs. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m at the Father David Bauer Arena.
