UPDATE: A couple more results from the municipal elections held around our area on Monday.
The five people elected in the Village of Beiseker are David Ledoyen, David McKenzie, Austin Sheridan, Nikki King and Neil Young.
The five elected in Acme are Rhonda Laking, Bruce McLeod, David Simmons, Doreen Ternowetsky, and Jason Bates.
The five councillors in Linden are Sonia Ens, John Hillis, Kelly Klassen, Patricia McConnell, and Heather Sweetman.

Elections were taking place throughout the province and we have the results from nearby communities in their municipal elections from Monday, October 20th.
In Hanna, incumbent Danny Povaschuk has been re-elected as Mayor. Councillors elected are Freddy Crowle, Paul Hunter, Brenda Karg, Erica Rorabeck, Vernon Thuroo, and Angie Warwick.
In the Village of Morrin, the three councillors elected are Nick Dragos, M’Liss Edwards, and Lorrain MacArthur.
In the Village of Munson, the three councillors are Darry Bremerton, Travis Dyck, and Leslie Landon.
In Delia, the three elected are Thomas Trout, David Smeyers, and Jordan Elliot.
Three Hills saw Arthur Creassar, Arlin Koch, Marilyn Sept, and Miriam Kirk elected to council to join Mayor Dennis Hazelton.
In Trochu, seven seats were available. Chris Armstrong, Bill Cunningham, Cerilo De La Cruz, Barry Kletke, Jaime Martel, Carl Peterson, and Chris Reeds were elected.
Starland County had two divisions that needed an election. Winning Division 2 was incumbent Steve Wannstrom and in Division 5, incumbent Jon Rew won the seat.
Kneehill County had elections in 5 of their 7 divisions. Elected in Division 1 was Merle Anderson, Darcy Penner won Division 2, Jerry Wittstock was re-elected in Division 3. Lowell Olson won Division 4. Finally, Lonnie McCook was elected in Division 7.
All results are unofficial until Friday, October 24th.
