Our local bottle depot has been recognized as one of the best in the province.
In a release by the Drumheller and Region Transition Society (DARTS) who operate the depot, they share the good news.
The Drumheller Bottle Depot is proud to announce that we’ve been awarded the 2025 ABCRC Industry Excellence Award for Operational Excellence!
This award recognizes bottle depots across Alberta that go above and beyond in providing excellent customer service, safe and positive workplaces, strong community engagement, accurate processing, and outstanding day-to-day operations.
“We’re incredibly proud of our team and our community,” said Lorelei Martin, Executive Director of D.A.R.T.S.. “Our staff work hard every day to make sure the Depot is a welcoming, efficient, and safe place for everyone. This award really reflects that commitment.”
The Drumheller Bottle Depot is operated by the Drumheller and Region Transition Society (D.A.R.T.S.), a local non-profit organization supporting individuals with disabilities. The Depot not only promotes environmental sustainability but also creates meaningful employment opportunities right here in the community.
