Story #5 -Two Teens Deceased After Rollover Near Consort
Sunday morning (September 15) at 1:06 a.m., Coronation RCMP responded to a single vehicle motor vehicle collision on Township Road 353.
Officers identified seven teenage occupants from the truck with various injuries and two confirmed fatalities, a 19-year old and 17-year old. Preliminary investigation suggests that alcohol was a factor. The investigation is still ongoing and an update is expected at a later date. Full Story
Story #4 – Three Area Residents Charged In Year Long Drug Investigation
After an extensive year-long investigation, Drumheller RCMP General Investigation Section (GIS), in collaboration with multiple RCMP units, has successful concluded a drug trafficking investigation, resulting in several people being arrested and illicit drug seizures.
The investigation, which began in April of 2024, targeted individuals suspected of distributing illicit drugs in Drumheller and surrounding areas. Full Story
Story #3 – Fatal Collision Northwest of Drumheller
Drumheller and area emergency crews were called to a collision on the North Dinosaur Trail near the golf course just before 8:30 on Wednesday morning (July 9th).
In a release from the Drumheller RCMP, they share that at approximately 8:30 AM, Drumheller RCMP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two motorcycles along Highway 838. STARS also attended the scene. Full Story
Story #2 – Serios Collision Near Carbon Corner
On Nov. 14, 2024, shortly after 7:00 a.m., Drumheller RCMP, with the assistance of 3 local Fire Departments and EMS, responded to a report of a head on collision. Upon arrival, officers began an investigation into the collision which involved a detached semi tractor truck and a sedan. Unfortunately, the driver of the sedan was declared deceased at the scene.
RCMP have completed their investigation, and as a result, charges have been pursued against the driver of the semi truck. Full Story
Story #1 – Drumheller Man Charged In Sexual Assault Case
On Aug. 13, 2025, Drumheller RCMP entered into a sexual assault investigation. The victim came to police to disclose a series of sexual assaults that happened over several years while they were a youth. The suspect was the employer of the youth at a local business.
As a result of the investigation, Drumheller RCMP has charged 59-year-old Bernard Germain, a resident of Drumheller. Full Story
