Monday was Family Day in Alberta and Drumheller was no different.
The Town of Drumheller hosted Family Day Unplugged encouraging families to come and spend time together, hopefully putting down their electronics. It all started with a fun event at the Fieldhouse of the Badlands Community Facility where there was bouncy play structures for the kids to play on, a number of events at the Library, face painting, contests, and snacks of popcorn and cotton candy.
The day continued at the Memorial Arena with the Dragons players offering a Skate with the Dragons from 1 to 3. Over at the Aquaplex the pool was packed with a Thrifty Swim from 1 to 4.
Overall, all of the events were well attended.
