Do you know a person or a business in the Drumheller Valley that deserves recognition for going over and above.
An opportunity for said recognition is available with the Celebration of Excellence. Nominations are now open for the 2026 awards presented by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Drumheller, and Travel Drumheller.
The annual Celebration of Excellence recognizes outstanding individuals, businesses and organizations for their contributions to the Drumheller region across 13 award categories. The 2026 gala will take place Thursday, June 11, at the Badlands Community Facility in Drumheller.
“We are proud to recognize outstanding achievements in our community,” said Heather Bitz, Executive Director of the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce. “We encourage residents
to nominate a deserving business or individual and help honour those who set the standard for success in Drumheller.”
The Rotary Club of Drumheller, a community organization serving the region for more than 90 years, is accepting nominations for Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year, Most Courteous Employee and Citizen of the Year. “The Rotary Club of Drumheller is thankful for the community’s continued generosity and support, and we look forward to serving Drumheller for many more years,” said Heather Dyck of the Rotary Club of Drumheller. “We are excited to recognize individuals who go above and beyond.”
Tourism remains a cornerstone of the Drumheller region’s economy, and Travel Drumheller will present awards for Tourism Business of the Year, Hospitality Ambassador of the Year and Event of
the Year. “Travel Drumheller looks forward to honouring local tourism leaders who help make Drumheller a premier destination,” said Kelli Hoff of Travel Drumheller.
