UPDATE: Highway 9 Closed West Of Highway 21

UPDATE: As of 12 noon, Airdrie Rural RCMP is advising the scene is now clear and normal traffic can resume.

Airdrie Rural RCMP are advising that they are currently on scene at motor vehicle collision on Highway 9 at Range Road 242. Two semi trucks have collided, making the highway impassable. Minor injuries are being reported; however, the roads are full of debris, and it will take some time to clean it up.

Please use an alternate route.
