Although Sunday, April 5th, ended up being a cooler, winter-like day, that didn’t stop the kids from coming out to Riverside Park to find some chocolate
The team from Barney’s Adventure Park welcomed the community to their Eggstravaganza In The Park on Sunday afternoon. A couple of areas were set aside for the kids to search for chocolate eggs, one for the little ones, and one for the bigger kids. A good amount of families were on hand and at the end of the Easter egg hunt, the grids were pretty well cleaned up of candy and easter eggs. There were also a couple of special ‘golden eggs’ that the kids who found them would get a special prize.
Barney’s Adventure Park also brought some of their animals for the kids to meet at their petting zoo, including a new calf that was only one day old. They also had a number of games for the kids to play after the Easter egg hunt.
