UPDATE: On May 6, 2025, at 11:05 p.m., Three Hills RCMP attempted to stop a stolen Toyota Camry in the parking lot of the Get N’ Go gas station in Three Hills. The vehicle fled from police and drove towards Big Valley. The male suspect was seen on CCTV from the gas station. RCMP was seeking assistance in identifying the suspect.
James Pyke (61), a resident of Rocky View County, was identified with assistance from the public. He has been charged with:
- Failure to comply with release order
- Flight from police
- Possession of property obtained by crime
A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

The suspect is described as:
- Medium complexion
- He has a moustache and a tattoo on his forearm
- Wearing a red t-shirt, grey pants, black shoes and a black baseball cap
- He walks with the assistance of a cane
