One of the greatest days on the calendar in the Drumheller Valley is the evening the “cream of the crop” are recognized with the Celebration of Excellence.
This year, on Thursday, June 12th, the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Drumheller, and Travel Drumheller hosted over 200 people at the Badlands Community Facility to award a number of awards for businesses and individuals in and around the Drumheller Valley. Our own Jason Blanke was the host of the festivities. The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce had six awards, Community Builder, Employer of Choice, Most Promising New Business, Business Professional of the Year, Small Business of the Year, and Large Business of the Year. The awards presented by the Rotary Club of Drumheller were the Female Athlete of the Year, Male Athlete of the Year, Most Courteous Employee, and Citizen of the Year.
