The results, although still unofficial, have shown that the majority of voters in Battle River-Crowfoot believe in the Conservative party and their leader Pierre Poilievre.
Nearing percentage numbers of Damien Kurek in the April Federal Election, Poilievre has attained 80.4 percent of the vote. His nearest opponent was Independent Bonnie Critchley, who received 5,013 votes, which works out to be nearly 10 percent of the vote. In third was local Darcy Spady with the Liberal Party, with 2,174 votes (4.3 %). Katherine Swampy from the NDP received 1,050 votes (2.1 %) to take fourth place.
Poilievre will now represent Battle River-Crowfoot in the House of Commons when the fall session begins next month. His next challenge will be the Conservative Leadership Review in January.
