Every year Boston Pizza in Drumheller, and around the country, help to raise funds for not profit groups through their heart campaign.
This year is no different and two local groups will benefit from the funds raised, the Drumheller Area Health Foundation and the Drumheller Girls Softball Association. “Drumheller Area Health Foundation was our first partner,” advises Heather Jones from Boston Pizza. “We had made some arrangements with them back in November and we are really excited about that. Then, we added Drumheller Girls Softball, just to help them out with their season.”
There are multiple ways to support the cause, buying paper hearts in store, or for businesses Boston Pizza offers another option according to Jones. “If you would like your business to advertise on the window, it is 100 dollars. It is great to get out there to advertise in the restaurant. As well, a dollar from every ‘Salted Caramel Panookie’ that is sold until February 23rd goes towards the charities.” As well, they offer the hearts through their online ordering, as long as you order through the Drumheller location, the funds will go to the two local charities. Finally, on February 14th, every heart-shaped pizza goes to help the charities.
The paper hearts are available until February 14th. The online hearts and Salted Caramel Panookie are available until February 23rd. For more information, stop by Boston Pizza, or visit their Facebook page!
