Kneehill County Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Theresa Cochran as the County’s new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective May 12, 2026.
Council formally approved the CAO Employment Agreement and appointed Cochran to carry out the powers, duties, and responsibilities of the Chief Administrative Officer in accordance with the Municipal Government Act and Kneehill County’s CAO Bylaw.
Cochran’s background includes working with municipal councils, executive leadership teams, governance bodies, and organizations navigating growth and change. Her work focuses on helping organizations align their values with measurable results while fostering strong communication, accountability, and collaboration.
“I’m excited to join Kneehill County and work alongside Council, Administration, staff, and the community,” said Cochran. “I look forward to building strong relationships and supporting the County’s continued success.
