Thursday evening, Drumheller came together to celebrate and recognize those in our community who strive to make Drumheller and area better with the Celebration of Excellence.
The event, hosted jointly by the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce, Travel Drumheller, and the Rotary Club of Drumheller, was very well attended with nearly 200 guests. The meal was done by Happy Belly in Drumheller.
Below is a list of the categories and the winners are in bold.
Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce Finalists:
- Business Professional of the Year: Kim Moulton, Lana Phillips, Jared Potter
- Community Builder of the Year: Badlands Trail Society, Reality Bytes Inc., Town of Drumheller Library Board
- Employer of Choice of the Year: Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site, Flomax Compression Ltd., MH Enterprises
- Most Promising New Business of the Year: Dino-Mite Fudge, Glamour Skin Drumheller, Roadhouse Bed and BBQ

Travel Drumheller Finalists:
- Tourism Business of the Year: Atlas Coal Mine National Historic Site, Roadhouse Bed and BBQ, Rosebud Theatre & School of the Arts
- Hospitality Ambassador: Rebecca Friesen, Lothar Malmberg
- Event of the Year: 2025 Badlands Passion Play, BC/DC Live at the Napier Theatre, Spiritual and Metaphysical Fair
