Delia School is currently working to increase their enrollment numbers and Wild Aspen Enrichment Center is working together with the school identifying ways they can help.
Nichole Clayholt of Wild Aspen understands the importance of the partnership to strengthen the school population. “As a small town, anytime you can work together to accomplish something, is amazing. The school and Wild Aspen are working together to increase our enrollment for fall because we have an amazing education system to offer.” Delia School has made some adjustments to their school days for next year including a four day school week, instead of five. They have also added some optional faith based learning for students if families wish to do so.
There are some significant benefits to having kids attend Delia School according to Clayholt. “We have a beautiful school. We have amazing teachers. The culture within our classrooms is really supportive. We are really proud of our athletes, who have done amazing this year. The kids are really excited to be there and we want to share that with our greater community.”
The partnership between Wild Aspen Enrichment Centre and the Delia School is both essential and supplemental admits Clayholt. “It is ideally a one stop shop. Your big (kids) can go off to the school and if you have a preschooler, or a little one, that needs to come to us for a couple of years, we can be that safe place and help everybody transition into the community all together.”
