On Sept. 24, 2026, the RCMP Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU) attended Siksika Nation to assist Gleichen RCMP with a break, enter and theft. Two trucks were stolen from a rural Vulcan County property during the night. A suspect was identified via security footage and was believed to be residing on Siksika Nation.
While conducting surveillance, SAD CRU identified the suspect driving a stolen 2012 GMC Sierra from the break and enter near Gleichen and tracked the vehicle to a Siksika property. Gleichen RCMP attended the property where two male suspects were arrested in possession of the stolen truck. There was also an additional stolen vehicle recovered on the property. The primary suspect was confirmed as the driver of the stolen truck and was wearing the same clothing as in the break and enter.
Charlie Paul Wolfear (26), a resident of Siksika Nation, has been charged with:
- Break and Enter
- Theft of Motor Vehicle
- Possession of Stolen Property (x2)
- Fail to comply with probation order
Wolfear was also wanted on warrants and charged with theft of motor vehicle and fail to comply with probation from Sept. 8, 2026, in Langdon.
