The Alberta Wheat Commission earlier this month launched its first consumer marketing campaign “Life’s Simple Ingredient.”

Commission General Manger Tom Steve says it's important to promote Alberta wheat as part of a healthy diet.

The campaign is designed to make people feel good about eating wheat.

“Life’s Simple Ingredient” promotes high-quality Alberta wheat, a historically versatile ingredient, through interactive videos, articles, recipes and more.

The campaign celebrates the ease of eating local with over 8.4 million tonnes of wheat produced a year in Alberta alone.
