Runners, swimmers and bikers unite! The Dinosaur Trail Triathlon has announced that it will be back again this year.
Morgan Syversten is the organizer of this year's event.
"It's been going for awhile," he explained. "We're doing both sprint distance and Olympic distance, solo and team entries."
The Olympic distance is an event which includes a 1,500 metre swim, a 40 kilometre bike ride and a 10-K run. Team entries allow more people to compete, but to each take on a particular leg of the race.
"If you have always wanted to do this, this is a great race to start with because there's not huge crowds," pointed out Syversten. There's not crazy, insane, competitive people. We've got a fantastic course, and, of course, now the pool's open [so] we've got this beautiful new pool to use as well."
If you're interested in seeing what someone looks like after having completed a triathlon, mark your calendars.
"It's going to be the very first Saturday in June, which is June 2," revealed Syversten. "The two races will start at staggered times. We'll have everybody coming in basically at the same time so it makes for a more exciting finish."
