What position do you play? Forward and mainly center.
How old are you? 18 years old.
How long have you been playing hockey? Since I was three.
What aspect of the game comes easiest to you? I would say the offensive side. When our team has the puck or I have the puck I'm most comfortable.
Do you have a highlight of the season so far? Since I am a rookie, scoring my first goal especially since it was in the home opener against Brooks and us winning 11 - 3.
How do you stay motivated after losing a game? I just think in my head after the game of what I could have done better. Keep that in mind for the next challenge and get ready for the next game.
Why is the local support from the town so important to you and the team? It means a lot to have the entire town behind us every game. Especially home games really energizes the team and myself. I think it brings out the best in our team.
What has hockey taught you that carries over to other areas of your life? Always have to be working hard with anything you do. Whether it be hockey, school, work or anything, just try your best. Work as hard as you can to succeed.
What inspires you? Definitely my family. They have inspired throughout my entire hockey career. Also the pros and aspiring to be like them.
What brought you to Canada to play hockey? When I came to the prospects camp I really liked the team and the environment around the community. For me I thought it was the best option, in my case, to come and play here.
Who is your favorite superhero? I have to go with Iron Man.
You are a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why? I would be red, it's my favorite color and I think it stands out from most of the other colors.
What is the most interesting thing about you that people might not know? A lot of people confuse me with being related to Steve Ott who used to play hockey. I'm actually not related at all to him.
You've been given an elephant. You can't sell it or give it away. What would you do with it? I would definitely raise it sort of as a pet. Then probably try to gain a profit off of it. Try to show it off a little bit.
