Nils Stuber is a young man that has started an adventure that he will never forget. Right out of high school, Nils hopped on a plane to Canada.
A question is would you be able to leave your family behind to experience a different country half way around the world? That is exactly what Nils has done. Nils is from a small community just out of Berlin, Germany. He wanted to explore Canada so packed his bag and flew from Germany to Vancouver, B.C.. When there he purchased an old motor home to start his journey.
He arrived in Drumheller in September and applied at the local Tim Hortons for a job for a month or two. He didn't think that he was going to get it, but owners, Bob and Kathy, decided to give him a chance. I had the pleasure of meeting him on his first day as he was decorating "Smile Cookies". We got to know each other and he told me his story about travelling across our country.
From the sound of it, Nils plans on being in Canada for an extended period of time. He has some adventurous plans ahead.
I am so impressed with this young man. At such a young age, leaving his home behind to explore a nation he has never been. I wish Nils the best of luck on his adventure!!!
