It's been a heck of a season for the U18 Calgary Adrenaline women's fastball team and they capped it off last weekend with a provincial championship.
 
The club that includes Drumheller's Brayden Peters, competed at 'A' Division Provincials in Sherwood Park, just outside of Edmonton, July 7-9.adrenaline
 
On Sunday afternoon they defeated the Lloydminster Liners in the gold medal game. 
 
The Adrenaline were down 4-0 in the bottom of the 7th, but rallied for five runs to win 5-4.
 
Peters has been on injured reserve for the past month or so, but made the trip to Sherwood Park to cheer on her teammates.
 
They are competing in the Canadian Open this week in Vancouver in preparation for the National Championship event being held in Lloydminster later this Month.
