Minor hockey took over the Drumheller Memorial Arena this weekend as the valley's two Atom hockey teams co-hosted the Charmont Memorial Tournament.

Both teams made their respective pool finals on Sunday afternoon after going 3-0 in the round robin Friday and Saturday and both came away with wins.

The Tier 3 Yavis Atom Raptors won their final 9-0 over Camrose, while the Tier 4 Encana Atoms made it more interesting, winning their final game 4-3 in overtime against the Blackfoot Chiefs.

The tournament's most valuable Drumheller players were Paxton Olsen for the Yavis Atom Raptors and Corbin Moulton for the Encana Atom Raptors.
