The Drumheller Dragons ran into a power outage in Calgary on Thursday and wound up losing 3-1 to the Mustangs.

Brady Risk opened the scoring for Drumheller with an unassisted goal midway into the first period, but that was all the scoring the Dragons could muster. Calgary scored twice in the 2nd period and once in the 3rd to salt it away.

Mustangs goaltender Ashton Abel stopped 22 shots for the win. Daniel Allin manned the Dragons net and stopped 29 of 32 shots he faced.

The Dragons are headed back to Calgary tomorrow, this time to take on the Canucks at the max Bell Arena. Gametime is 7:00 p.m. It won't be on the radio.
