If Ava Harrington ever has back trouble it's probably because of all the medals hanging from her neck.

The 12 year old competed at Swim Alberta's Summer Championships this past weekend in Calgary.
Competing against the entire province, Harrington won a gold and two silver medals swimming in six different events.
"She was two tenths off of her Canadian Junior Championship time for 50 metre freestyle, three tenths of a second off of her 200 metre freestyle time and less than a second off her 100 metre freestyle and so, she will most definitely be going to Nationals next year," reported swim coach Sheila Martin of the Canadian Badlands Aquatic Club.
"Her 50 freestyle that she won gold in was extremely impressive," continued Martin. "She broke the 30 seconds (barrier) in December: she went 29 and change and this weekend, took it down even faster, to 28.81 seconds."
Harrington won silver medals in the 100 and 200 metre freestyle and placed 4th in the 50 metre butterly and 100 metre backstroke and 5th in the 200 metre individual medley.
"We just have two swimmers going to Alberta Summer Games, one from Drumheller, Ava Harrington, and the other from Airdrie, Quinn Schmidt," noted Martin. "Tney actually train on their own for that."
