Your Drumheller Dragons took to the road on Tuesday night to face off against the Okotoks Oilers. In the season series, the Dragons lead 3-0 going into the game.
The last time these two teams met, the Dragons pulled off the win at home. Okotoks was looking to make a statement at home themselves.

In the first period, Okotoks came to play as the first shift they had a good scoring chance in the Dragons zone. That may have been a sign of what was to come. The Dragons opened the scoring with 6:18 left in the period when Roc Truman accepted a great pass from Scout Truman to score his thirteenth of the season. The other assist went to Markus Boguslavsky. Just over a minute later, Okotoks tied the game with a shot from the left circle, top shelf, by Blake Wells. The first would end tied at one.

The second period, both teams had their opportunities but neither would score until 17:07 when Oilers player Louis Jamernik would score five hole on Daniel Allin to give Okotoks the lead. The Dragons would get into penalty trouble late in the period. Okotoks would have a 5 on 3 advantage going into the third.

Drumheller was able to kill off the penalties but would take another 5 minutes in. Okotoks would capitalize when Ryan Grant scored to give the Oiilers the 3-1 lead. Okotoks would add another on a nice set up by Dylan Holloway to Austin Wong to make it 4-1 Oilers. That is how the game would end.
