Less than one week and the old Club House at the Dinosaur Trail Golf & Country Club will be demolished.

"We still have some items out there that we would like people to come out to see if they could use. We'll take any kind of an offer because if it doesn't get taken, a lot of the items that someone could salvage are just going to be crumpled up in the demolition," stated Greg Morrow, board president.

"There's all kinds of pieces of the building that someone could see some value in like ceiling fans, electrical wiring or fuse boxes. It's going to take some dismantling, but if they can find some purpose for them it would be better than seeing it pushed into a pile," Morrow added.

If someone is interested in heading down North Dinosaur Trail to the golf course, call ahead to make sure someone is there to let you in.

"Phil McClusky is out there everyday now, there's going to be someone around all the time now like our superintendent. It would be best to call Phil if someone is interested in taking a look around there," noted Morrow. "His number is 403-820-2452."

Next week, possible Tuesday, the Town of Drumheller will be heading out to start the demolition. They are expecting it to take only a few short days.

After the building is demolished, Morrow mentioned that there was some discussion of having a putting green there or a place to store the golf carts.

"Once we've got that, we're going to continue forward with our plans to relocate the pro shop into a portion of the new club house. Once we get the building levelled and get that spot reclaimed, we'll look at other options."
