The Big Valley Inn is repairing some damage after a break and enter last week.

"On January 27, 2019, a male broke into the Big Valley Inn, smashed the window, caused an alarm to go off. The male fled in a silver or grey four-door sedan. Shortly breakandentersuspectRCMP are currently on the look out for this man.thereafter, the male attended Stettler to another business where he stole some equipment," explained Sergeant Phil Penny of the Stettler RCMP.

After an investigation, it appears nothing was stolen from the Big Valley Inn, and the suspect was spooked by the alarm, tells Penny.

"If you have any information about this or any other crimes you are encouraged to call your local RCMP or Crimestoppers," he continued.

While the RCMP are currently searching for a 4 door silver/grey coloured sedan, Penny urges caution as it is a very popular vehicle.

"If they actually believe that this is the vehicle responsible, then yes, call the police. We are not asking people to intervene or try and apprehend these people," concluded Penny.
