The Three Hills RCMP were busy yesterday excuting a search warrant an a rural property near Trochu.

"On January 3rd, 2019, Three Hills RCMP along with RCMP Emergency Response Team and the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit conducted a search warrent on a residence just north of Trochu, Alberta," explained Constable Mike Hibbs from RCMP Media Relations Group.

57 year old Alfred Legacy, of Kneehill County, has been charged with 9 charges including obstuction, possesion of stolen property under $5000, carrying a concealed weapon, and possesion of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Drumheller Provincial Court on January 25th.

Police seized a large amount of electronics and oilfield property that was located at the residences. RCMP are still attempting to identify the owners of the stolen property. Contstable Hibbs advises "If you have missed any electronics or oilfield property or equipment, you can contact Three Hills RCMP." Their number is 403-443-5539.
