The Tricia Hatch School of Dance competitive team recently put on a showcase at the Kaleidoscope Theatre to help them get prepared for their upcoming competitions.

"The show was all of our competitive team. The reason that we do the showcase is we like to perform for the community, friends and family before we are going on stage in front of an adjudicator," explained Tricia Hatch.

The show is not just for the dancers, it is for the community.

"It's a show that we put on for the community for as low of a cost as we can so that we can fill the seats. So it was solos, duets and groups. Everyone will be competing this Saturday at the Drumheller Music Festival," continued Hatch.

The Drumheller Music Festival is the first competition of the season for the dancers.

" We will be attending four competitions. Two are right here in Drumheller and we also travel to Stettler and to Camrose. That happens between now and the first weekend in May and then we have our big wrap up the first weekend in May back at the Kaleidoscope," concluded Hatch.
