Stabbing Outside Of Cross Iron Mills

On April 13, 2026, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Airdrie RCMP received a 911 call reporting at stabbing in the Cross Iron Mills parking lot, just outside of entrance 4, by the old Toys R’ Us. Initial investigation has revealed that the victim was purchasing items from the suspect when he was stabbed in the chest.

EMS attended and the victim was taken to a Calgary hospital in serious condition. The suspect fled the scene in a black SUV.

RCMP cleared the scene at around 11 p.m. The investigation continues.
