Monday morning (June 1), Drumheller Fire and Rescue were called to a possible fire in a home along Spruce Drive.
A number of fire trucks, along with EMS, Apex Utilities, and ATCO Electric responded at around 8 AM. The homeowner was able to get out of the home along with the owner’s pets. The smoke was due to an issue with the home’s furnace. Drumheller Fire and Rescue used fans to clear the home from smoke and there were no injuries due to the incident.
