Many of our local schools hold the Terry Fox Run every year and on Tuesday, September 29th, it was St. Anthony’s School’s opportunity.
It all started with a school assembly in the gymnasium with students and the run began at just before 10:30 AM. Students left the school and headed westward to the community of Midland, along the community pathway. Kids did laps around a couple of blocks in Lower Midland before heading back to the school. The Drumheller Dragons players joined the kids for their Terry Fox Run.
Last year, the school raised a significant amount of funds for the Terry Fox Foundation. This year, the total raised is still being calculated. Once we receive a total amount raised, we will provide all of the details.
